Alaine graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Education with High Honors in 1979. She was a middle school English teacher at the Octorara School District for 3 years. She then attended Villanova School of Law and graduated in 1985. She then clerked for the Honorable George T. Kelton.

Alaine V. Grbach was granted a scholarship to study at the International Ferinkurze located in Saltzburg, Austria in 1976 while she attended college.

Alaine V. Grbach and her husband Bernard have been married for 21 years. They currently live in Penryn on a small preserved farm. She has no hobbies and is known as a workaholic. In her spare time, Alaine enjoys traveling with Bernard. Alaine loves her dogs.

She established her law office at 1480 Harrisburg Pike in 1998. Alaine currently practices at 675 Estelle Dr. in Lancaster, PA.

Alaine has had the privilege to clerk for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania during law school. She also clerked for a prominent Law Firm located in Philadelphia, Gratz, Tate, Spiegel, Ervin and Ruffrauth.
